Are press releases still en vogue? What arts-related stories are making headlines? Join us for CAMA’s Meet the Press member meeting to learn how arts organizations can collaborate with the media. This one-hour panel discussion will be followed by an open Q&A where you can ask all your pressing questions about building relationships with local Columbus news organizations.

Thurber House is a nonprofit arts hub, James Thurber museum, and gathering place for readers, writers, and artists of all ages. We’ll be meeting at the Thurber Center next door to the historic house and generously hosted by CAMA member Jess Cox, Thurber’s Program & Event Coordinator.

Parking Information:

  • On Jefferson Avenue: Easy street parking is available all along the Jefferson Avenue oval. Parking is free, with a three-hour limit, between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM. Note: only the spots along the one-way oval are free; the spots along the two-way ends of Jefferson Avenue (near Broad Street and Long Street) are not free.
  • Off 11th Street (behind Thurber Center): Free visitor parking is available in the small lot directly behind Thurber Center, accessible off 11th Street and located here. There is no time limit as long as you are visiting Thurber Center. All other parking lots do not belong to Thurber House and you may be towed.
