How to get value out of AI without losing your soul
A roadmap to AI that takes into account ethics, sustainability, your team culture, and results.

Ashley Steward of Inhalt Marketing and UX Researcher Kris Howell have been early adopters of AI within their spheres and will share ways to consider AI in your organization, both behind the scenes and best practices for customer-facing content. This conversation will include ethical implications, policy structuring, and you’ll come away with three ways to make your team (or your one-person team) more efficient.

Columbus Museum of Art is located at 480 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215. Parking is free in the adjacent Museum Lot with validation.

LUNCH:
Lunch will be provided, catered by Apple Spice, to those who register by 5:00 PM on Monday, July 13.

  • Strawberry Grilled Chicken Sandwich - Grilled chicken breast with sweet strawberries, Vidalia onion mayonnaise, lettuce, and Swiss cheese on sourdough bread.
  • Turkey and Swiss Sandwich - Oven-roasted turkey breast with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and our signature sauce on honey wheat bread.
  • Ham and Havarti Sandwich - Cured ham and Havarti cheese with green leaf lettuce and our signature sauce on sourdough bread.
  • Vegetarian Sandwich - Mushrooms, cucumbers, vine-ripened tomatoes, sprouts, roasted red peppers, and avocados on lettuce with cheddar cheese and pesto mayonnaise on 13-grain bread.
  • Garden Vegetable Salad - Lettuce greens with garden vegetables with apple cider vinaigrette.

Kris Howell
Kris Howell is an independent consultant with nearly two decades of working across customer experience, UX research, operations, and AI strategy. He helps founder-led companies and small businesses turn operational plateaus into momentum, and helps those organizations actually adopt AI rather than just talk about it. His work blends behavioral psychology, embodied design thinking, and hands-on implementation, with a focus on making powerful tools practical for teams without a technical bench. He’s worked across financial services, healthcare, retail, and the public sector.

Erin Hoppe is an Associate Teaching Professor of Arts Management & Arts Entrepreneurship at Miami University. Building on two decades as a practitioner, her teaching bridges theory and practice with attention to well-being and accessibility. Her recent research focuses on AI and arts management in higher education policy and pedagogy, including the forthcoming co-edited manuscript Artificial Intelligence in Arts Administration: Cases in Pedagogical and Professional Practice (Routledge).
